This naturally terminated heliodor crystal has prismatic faces and terminations in excellent condition. The color is a very rich natural yellow-green, and the crystal becomes colorless (beryl variety: goshenite) at the tip. This 3.2 inch long natural heliodor crystal has superb transparency throughout its length with many small flawless gem grade areas! The photo at left was taken under incandescent light.

This naturally terminated heliodor crystal has superb transparency with many gem grade areas throughout its length, and there are several small abrasions along its edges. The photo at left shows a close-up of the base of this natural heliodor crystal. It has a very interesting shape along one side where it grew up against another long slender heliodor crystal which left its deepening impression all along this crystal's length (see a full view photo). The color is a very intense natural golden-yellow at one end that grades into yellow-green (see a back view photo).
