Item: Etched Meteorite Sterling Silver Earrings
	Code#: metj144 Size: each earring measures 2.3" long x 0.6" wide and 2.4" long x 0.5" wide Location: The natural Gibeon meteorites in this pair of earrings were discovered in Namibia Price: $134.95 These sterling silver meteorite earrings were hand-crafted and set at the top with two genuine Gibeon meteorites measuring 12x9mm in one earring and 16x8mm in the other. Each of these genuine meteorite earrings is also set with a large etched slice of genuine Gibeon iron-nickel meteorite that measures 27x12mm. These Gibeon meteorites were sawn and then etched to show their amazing Widmanstatten patterns. This Widmanstatten pattern is the result of the iron and nickel crystallizing separately within the meteorite over a long period of time as it travelled through space. The Gibeon meteorite was sawn into a thin flat plate and then etched to show its amazing Widmanstatten patterns. This Widmanstatten pattern is the result of the iron and nickel crystallizing separately within the meteorite over a long period of time as it travelled through space.
