	Code#: rkxl118 Weight: 34.25 Lbs Size: 12" x 10" x 8.5" Location: Mined in Minas Gerais, Brazil Price: $411.00 This specimen of natural quartz crystal is basically semi-transparent to transparent all the way through the piece with some small cloudy areas, and overall you can see anywhere from 2 to 6 inches into the natural light smoky quartz crystal where ever there is a fresh break on its surface. See a side-view photo, and also a photo showing a different side. This large elestial quartz crystal specimen actually is terminated on the opposite side, however its real beauty is its internal transparency that is best visible when its broken surface is turned up as shown in the photo at left. The terminations on the opposite side have a milky quartz skin that make it difficult to see into the crystal when placed in other positions. This specimen makes a great decorator specimen just as it is, although it could yield a wonderful carving or free-form polished piece weighing at least 20 pounds!

It actually is half of a large elestial quartz crystal that split apart naturally within the earth (see a side-view photo). It is terminated on the opposite surfaces, however its real beauty and value is its internal transparency that is best visible when its broken surfaces are turned up as shown in the photo at left. The terminations on the opposite side have a milky quartz skin about an inch thick that make it difficult to see into the crystal when placed in other positions. It has areas inside with very good transparency, and it could be made into a fantastic carving with good transparency weighing at least 35-40 pounds, although it does make a spectacular decorator specimen just as it is!

It has hexagonal form, and its surfaces are mostly dull and stream-rolled with a few fresh breaks. The fresh breaks act like windows looking into its interior where it has superb internal transparency with few inclusions in otherwise flawless quartz crystal that is over 70% internally flawless. It would yield a spectacular carving of very rare quality!

	Code#: citl107 Weight: 12.85 Lbs Size: 10" x 7.4" x 5.6" Location: Mined in Minas Gerais, Brazil Price: $2829.65 This ultra fine and rare color piece of natural color citrine rough has amazing intense golden yellow natural color under daylight with very fine deep golden-orange tones under incandescent light as shown (100% natural color - it is unheated and untreated). There are several very large internally flawless areas within separated by large planes (see back-lit photo showing the internal planes). Five of these flawless areas would yield internally flawless gems weighing from 500 to 1000 carats each for a total of about 4000 carats in large size flawless natural color citrine gems, plus an additional 1500 carats of smaller size flawless natural color citrine gems could be faceted from the remaining areas. This natural color citrine piece was discovered in the gravels of an ancient river bed in the interior of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Its surface is somewhat abraded and stream-rolled. This is a truly spectacular specimen of natural color citrine just as it is, however it has considerable gem value as well based on the large quantity (over 5500 carats) of internally flawless natural color citrine gemstones it would yield.
