Item: Natural Black Opal Cabchon
	Code#: opag128 Weight: 7.66 carats Size: 17.7 X 13.8 X 4.9 mm oval cab Location: Mined in Australia Price: $2681.00 This beautifull, genuine black opal cabochon gem mined in Australia is very nicely fashioned and polished. It has a body color of a deep blue with flashes of lighter blues and flecks of greens all throughout the upper side of the gem. Some flashes of blue and green penetrate right through to the back side. This is a solid opal, not a doublet. The back of the gem is mostly a deep gray blue that does penetrate through to the upper side in a few small areas. A few patches of violet and purple allso roll across the top as the light or the gem is moved.The photograph is taken under incandescent (bulb) light.

The primary colors of the opal are in the green, blue and violet range. It would make a very handsome specimen in any ones opal or fossil collection.

	Code#: opag132 Weight: 43.25 carats Size: 34 X 30 X 11 mm Location: Mined in Australia Price: $280.00 This genuine opal fossil clam mined in Australia contains multicolors of crystal opal in predominately greens, blue through violet, to purple colors within a slightly bluish body color. The precious opal shell thickness is from 2 MM to over 5 MM thick covering a sandstone center. It is an excellent specimen as is but could be polished to bring out the colors even more.
