This natural pegmatite mineral specimen is a large cluster of white clevelandite crystals (a variety of albite feldspar) with scattered muscovite crystals both intergrown and perched on top of the clevelandite. The photo at left is a close-up view showing a 0.7 inch long twinned cassiterite crystal with some of the clevelandite crystals and muscovite crystals. This large decorator specimen stands up securely in the position shown in the full view photo of this pegmatite specimen. This unique mineral specimen is completely natural with no treatments of any kind. It also has a large vug inside it measuring 3.5 inches across and over 9 inches deep! There are a few quartz crystals around the opening of the vug, the largest of these quartz crystals is 1.7 inches long (see a close up of this large pegmatite vug.)
