This extra fine quality grossular garnet gemstone is totally clean to the eye even under very close examination (GIA: VVS, Type 1). It has superb cutting with excellent brilliance, and it is well calibrated also! This rare quality garnet gem was faceted from a natural yellow-green grossular garnet crystal that was mined in Mali in 2004. Most mali garnets have strong brownish to yellow color components, but the color in this gem is a very fine and rare medium dark yellowish-green (100% natural color - unheated and untreated).

This fine quality hessonite variety of grossular garnet gemstone was mined and then faceted in a cushion cut shape in Sri Lanka (Ceylon). It has a beautiful medium dark tone of slightly brownish-orange (burnt orange) color, with rich red-orange tones under incandescent light. This is an eye clean gem with faint natural inclusions that are only visible under magnification. It was very well cut with very good proportions and no window. When looking into the depths of this stone with magnification and overhead light you can observe a heat wave effect reminiscent of burning coals. This is a very nice gem hessonite and a great jewelry or collector’s stone.

This rare quality tsavorite gem is very dark with wonderful green flashes in its depths. This fine tsavorite gem is completely clean even under close inspection with magnification and bright illumination (GIA Type II Gemstone, Clarity Grade: Flawless). These varying colors, types, and varieties of garnets in each line could make a very good "starter collection" of garnets, or unique pieces of jewelry. Each line starts with a 5 mm round faceted medium green tsavorite garnet and continues with other grossular, spessartite, andradite, pyrope, and almandite garnets or mixes there of, ending with rhodolite. The tsavorites weigh over .58 carat each and each line weighs over 6.75 carats. All the gems face up eye clean or nearly so. There is 12 gemstones total in each line, and our price is $885.00 per line.
